Hello! I’m Aishwarya. I am passionate about creating habitat-friendly spaces in a time of increased urbanization. With a particular focus in ecological facilitation, thoughtfully modifying urban yards through mindful design to function as small-scale habitat corridors that support biodiversity and reconnect fragmented ecosystems.
I studied Sustainable Landscape Management at Edmonds College. I have experience caring for both residential gardens and public green spaces, by way of my time as a restoration steward at my local community garden. These experiences have shaped my approach to caring for a vast array of native and non-native plants.
In my free time, you’ll find me hiking, backpacking, and exploring this beautiful state with my husband; cooking, baking, and enjoying the company of my cats; and working with a wide variety of flowers at my local community garden.
